The Western Series frames use real cow, lamb, and dear skins to add a western look to the already natural wood frame. Real cow leather straps are incorporated into the design for variations. In most cases new leather is tanned and “aged” artificially. In some cases actual leather straps from bridles, saddles, and other uses are used. When these kinds of leather are used the leather is sanitized by boiling and then reconditioned for the soft and aged look. All of the hides used are commercially tanned and purchased in the United States. When ever possible the Native Edge is also incorporated by using the natural tanned edge of the hide, as well as the wood.
